The home of Atelier M holds ideas, conversations, and the processes of designing. On Meagher Street, this studio brings those worlds together, creating a workspace that feels as considered and personal as a home.

The defining gesture is a floor-to-ceiling curtain that wraps the perimeter. It softens the edges of the room, turning a simple volume into something more intimate. Depending on need, the curtain expands or contracts the space, filtering light, calming acoustics, and creating a sense of softness within the urban setting.

At the centre sits a long communal desk, designed to be shared. It anchors the practice in collaboration, encouraging exchange and dialogue as the starting point for every project. The floor, painted black, provides a grounding base. Against this dark backdrop, books, material samples, models, and furniture are lifted into focus, giving the studio both clarity and cohesion. A large street-facing window brings natural light and the rhythm of city life, balanced by the greenery of pot plants that soften and enliven the space.

The Studio demonstrates that a workplace can carry the same qualities as a home: comfort, adaptability, and belonging. It is both a professional base and a personal expression, a space where creative work can unfold with openness and joy.
